Mdm. Izzana Salleh

Mdm Izzana Salleh is the Secretary General of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC), the intergovernmental organisation established by Indonesia and Malaysia to coordinate policy across the world's major palm oil-producing countries, with subsequent membership extending into other producer nations.

Under her leadership, CPOPC has been at the centre of policy dialogue with the European Union on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), with importing countries on sustainability standards, and with multilateral bodies on the framing of palm oil within food security, climate and trade agendas. CPOPC issues regular market commentary and policy briefs that are closely tracked by industry stakeholders.

At GLOBOIL India 2026 Mdm Salleh will speak on the Policy & Producer plenary alongside GAPKI and MPOC representatives, framing the producer-country position on the EUDR transition, the Indonesian B50 timeline, the single-gate export reform, and Asia-Pacific market dynamics for the year ahead.
