Eddy Martono
Chairman of GAPKI, the Indonesian Palm Oil Association — voice of the world's largest palm oil-producing industry.
About Martono
Eddy Martono is the Chairman of Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (GAPKI) — the Indonesian Palm Oil Association — which represents the country's plantation companies, refiners and downstream processors across an industry that produces approximately 60% of global crude palm oil.
In his role at GAPKI, Martono represents Indonesian industry positions in policy negotiations with the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, BPDPKS (the palm oil subsidy fund), and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on biofuel mandates, export levies, sustainability frameworks and the recently announced single-gate export reform.
At GLOBOIL India 2026 he will speak on the Policy & Producer plenary alongside CPOPC and MPOC representatives, addressing the operational implications of Indonesia's evolving export architecture, B40/B50 biodiesel timelines and the BPDPKS subsidy framework for the 2026–27 cycle.
