Vidya Bhushan

Vidya Bhushan is Director of Trading — India Distribution & Bulk at Bunge India, where he heads the company's bulk-trading desk across the Indian market. Bunge is one of the world's largest agri-businesses and is among the largest physical traders of edible oils, oilseeds, grains and protein meals globally.

He has more than 19 years of experience across the vegetable-oil complex, including senior trading roles at Adani Wilmar Singapore prior to joining Bunge. His career has spanned palm oil, soybean oil, soybean meal, rapeseed, sunflower and protein-meal categories — covering origin sourcing, freight, hedging and Indian discharge logistics.

On the GLOBOIL stage he brings the bulk-trader perspective: how international supply moves into Indian ports, how the freight, levy and duty stack shapes deal economics, and where the price-discovery friction points are between origin and refiner.

Vidya is a regular contributor to GLOBOIL Intelligence's market commentary and a frequent voice on volatile-edible-oil-markets debates at the conference.
