B. Mallik serves on the GLOBOIL India Organising Committee as a senior industry representative. Members of the Organising Committee shape the editorial direction of each annual edition — selecting which policy questions, market themes, sustainability debates and producer-country tracks define the three-day programme.

The Organising Committee functions year-round, not just in the build-up to the September–October conference, and is the body that holds the GLOBOIL franchise to its founding standard: that the senior leadership of the global edible-oils trade convenes in one room, on one stage, in one week of the year.
