Dr. Inke van der Sluijs

Dr Inke van der Sluijs is the Director of Market Transformation at the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), the multi-stakeholder organisation that has set the global certification standard for sustainable palm oil production since its founding in 2004.

RSPO certifies approximately 20% of global palm oil production, working with growers, processors, traders, consumer goods companies, retailers, banks and NGOs. Dr van der Sluijs's portfolio spans market uptake of certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO), the development of jurisdictional certification frameworks, smallholder inclusion programmes, and the alignment of RSPO standards with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

At GLOBOIL India 2026 she will speak on the Sustainability plenary addressing the operational realities of RSPO certification in Indonesia and Malaysia, the convergence between RSPO and EUDR requirements, and the role of certification in Indian and global supply chains.
