About Patel

Priyam Patel is Managing Director of N. K. Proteins Pvt. Ltd. — the Gujarat-headquartered company behind the Tirupati edible-oils brand, with a strong presence in the cottonseed, soybean and refined-oils segments across western and northern Indian markets.

He represents the next generation of Indian edible-oils ownership: a leader who inherits a strong regional refiner franchise and is now extending it into new categories, modern-trade channels and contemporary brand positioning. Under his leadership the Tirupati brand has continued to scale across India's general-trade and organised-retail footprints.

Priyam was honoured as the GLOBOIL Rising Star of the Year at the GLOBOIL Awards Gala in 2019 — recognition of his contribution to the next-generation operating leadership of the Indian edible-oils sector.

On the Organising Committee, he brings a younger-generation perspective on what the industry needs to discuss — particularly around brand-building, digital-marketing channels, sustainability storytelling, and the consumer-facing reality of the duty and packaging-standardisation debates.
