Bhavna Shah
Three-decade industry veteran. Previously led the Malaysian Palm Oil Council's outreach across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
About Shah
Bhavna Shah is Deputy CEO of N. K. Proteins — the Gujarat-headquartered company behind the Tirupati edible-oils brand, one of India's most established regional players in the cottonseed, soybean and refined oil segments.
Earlier in her career she served as Country Head for the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) in India, with responsibility extending across Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In that role she became one of the senior voices linking the Indian refining industry to the Malaysian production base — managing market-development programmes, certification dialogue and bilateral trade engagement at a sustained, year-round level.
She brings three decades of experience across producer-country promotion, refiner-side operations and category-development work in the South Asian market. Her perspective on the GLOBOIL stage routinely bridges the producer narrative from Kuala Lumpur with the operating reality of refiners in Kandla, Mundra and Chennai.
Bhavna is a frequent contributor to GLOBOIL Intelligence and has been a featured commentator on sustainability and consumer-trust questions in the Indian palm oil market.
