Himanshu Panchamia

Himanshu N. Panchamia is the Director of Bulk Trading at Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd (PIL), where he plays a key role in the company's international trading and merchandising operations. With more than three decades of experience across vegetable oils, commodities, trading and financial markets, he brings extensive expertise in destination markets, origination, sourcing, supply chain management, freight planning, chartering and trade execution.

Himanshu joined the Group in 2005 as International Trading Manager with PT. Pacific Indomas (INDOMAS) in Jakarta, where he was responsible for CNF merchandising of palm oils to South Asia. He returned to PIL in 2014 as Senior Manager – International Trading and was appointed Director, Bulk Trading in June 2022.

In his current role, Himanshu is responsible for PIL's bulk trading business across the Red Sea region, the Middle East and Africa. He has managed trading volumes exceeding 2.5 million tonnes during his tenure in the role, including sourcing / origination, freight planning and logistics, while also playing a critical role in the overall management of the company's trading books.

Prior to his current role, Himanshu held senior trading and marketing positions in Singapore, Indonesia and India with Golden Agri International Pte. Ltd., AAA Oils & Fats Pte. Ltd. (Apical), Maurigo Pte. Ltd. and Palmtrade Services Pvt. Ltd., managing substantial vegetable oil volumes across the South Asian markets. His career also includes earlier experience with securities and stockbroking organisations including NatWest Markets, Citibank N.A. and Prudential Stock & Securities Ltd.
