About Mallick
Angshu Mallick is the Executive Deputy Chairman of AWL Agri Business — formerly Adani Wilmar — one of India's largest FMCG players and the company behind the Fortune brand, India's market leader across multiple edible oils categories. AWL Agri Business operates a refining network across India and is among the country's largest importers and processors of palm, soybean, sunflower and mustard oil.
Mallick has held senior leadership roles at the company for over two decades and has overseen its expansion from a refining-led operation into a diversified FMCG and food business spanning edible oils, wheat flour, rice, pulses and packaged food. He is regularly cited in Indian and international press on edible oil demand, retail pricing and import policy.
At GLOBOIL India 2026 he will join the CEO Panel alongside the leadership of Patanjali Foods, Emami Agrotech and other major Indian refiners to address H2 2026 procurement strategy, brand-level pricing pass-through, and the operational implications of Indonesia's export reform on Indian supply chains.
